COURTOIS / ERDMANN / FINCKER

Lines For Lions
"This trio sounds beautiful, on-point... It refreshes clichés, turns them on their head, transforms sepia into rainbows... The audience is left spellbound." Alain Gauthier, Culture Jazz
"This music has been, from the very beginning, a total success." Xavier Prévost, Jazz Magazine

After thirteen years of existence, five repertoires and five albums, including the famous "Love of Life" recorded in California, a tour of the United States, countless concerts throughout Europe... the same enthusiasm for reuniting remains with the trio of Vincent Courtois, Daniel Erdmann, and Robin Fincker.

In their latest album, "Lines for Lions," the trio has decided to confront their shared experience, their obvious complicity, and above all, their unique sound with their natural reminiscences of West Coast jazz. Is this a simple desire for exploration or a need to pay homage? Exorcising old demons or the need to get ever closer to unfulfilled loves? With their new creation "Lines for Lions," this essential trio continues tirelessly to intimately and as a single musician, to dig the furrow of a language of their own, nourished by their multiple influences...
